Home for the holidays

Traveling, a Christmas tradition.
Occasionally a test of patience as it seems that the rest of the world around you has decided to gather in the same airport terminal or train station as yourself, but I usually try to take it all in good stride. Noise-cancelling headphones help.I’ve left London behind me and are back to brace the cold Scandinavian winds of my hometown, which feels exactly like it did last year – as it should around Christmas. My idea of dressing down for both the trip and some last minute errands consists of a good pair of leather chukka boots, navy chinos coupled with a white shirt, navy silk knit tie and a cable-knit sweater. Bundled up under an old, but trusty pea coat, I’m ready to face the trials and tribulations of holiday travel before being able to settle down at home and get into the festive spirit.
