Just as it felt like winter was fast approaching, the weather and temperatures return to more autumnal levels, which means that I can get away with simply wearing my light SuitSupply jacket in hemp/wool coupled with a silk scarf.
I occasionally make my way past Buckingham Palace and through Green Park on the way to work and this outfit compliments the hues of the surroundings nicely. Bypassing the early bus loads of tourist crammed up against the fences with cameras and selfie sticks, this route is a a nice change of pace from the rest of the city. With London waking up all around and the morning rush hour making most streets into a polluted obstacle course, taking this minor detour gives one a moment to pause and take in all the colors. They’ll be gone soon enough and it’ll be time for wool and tweed, though I’m quite looking forward to that as well.
