Weekend Necessities

While the weekend is a often a chance to get the week’s accumulated tasks and chores out of the way, it’s just as much about spontaneity and doing whatever feels right at the moment.

As the summer sun still lingers over London, it seems a shame to not get out and enjoy it as much as possible – which in my case simply means walking wherever my soft suede double-monks from SuitSupply takes me. Starting with the day’s paper and a coffee at Tap before a browse through Dover Street Market and a bite to eat at the Rose Bakery on the top floor of the designer shopping mecca (a bit too high fashion for my taste, but always interesting). Heading south of the river to meet up with friends for drinks on Bermondsey Street, I popped into the White Cube, a fantastic contemporary art gallery that’s always worth a short visit.
